What is Dementia?: February 12, 2026

An introductory class that explains what dementia is—and what it is not. Participants will learn how dementia affects the brain, why changes in thinking, behavior, and communication occur, and how these changes differ from normal aging. This session helps caregivers reframe behaviors with compassion and begin “meeting the person where they are.”
