Thursday Night Dementia Education Series

Each month focuses on one educational theme, allowing participants to build knowledge week after week. The focus in July is Understanding the GEMS® Brain Change Model. The GEMS® Model helps caregivers recognize changing abilities rather than focusing on losses. Learn how to adapt care strategies based on the person's current abilities and needs. The focus in August is Positive Approach to Care (PAC) Skills. Learn the evidence-based techniques developed by Teepa Snow that improve communication, reduce distress, and build trust with people living with dementia.
